Amaijah's Eyes

I'm tired of seeing black people dying we living in hell.

If I could change anything I would try and make everything well.

I'm a lighter color of black but I'm not sure the police could tell.

If me and my darker friend committed the same crime maybe only they would go to jail--

Man that junk hurts, they treat "P.O.C." like dirt.

GOD put us all on earth, let's all try and love each other and see how that works.

The thing is no one wants to listen--

Every time I turn around I see a gun glistening and killing another black man.

I fall to my knees and pray because that's some real pain.
